Our smallest tank is an open-top fermentor. This shape and size is perfect for the small winery or a larger one that is working with small batches. The size and design make the Teacup easy to punch down and monitor. The tank has two lifting rings that allow the tank to be raised high enough for the third point to lift the tank into a pouring position. Easy to dump and spray clean without tank entry.
Concrete provides benefits similar to oak and the efficiency of stainless steel while retaining the pure varietal aromas of the fruit. C oncrete breathes like oak, concentrating the wine gently while softly diffusing oxygen. The resulting wine is integrated, soft and full-bodied. Concrete is neutral, imparting no flavors of its own, contributing to the flavor profile of the wine. Wines have more fruit expression and a greater richness. Concrete has a naturally stabilizing effect on temperature, and Glycol tubing can be uniformly embedded into the
tank walls for precise temperature control throughout fermentation.
